After reading , you would just feel like going out and start taking pictures are start posting the same. :P Oh well , maybe its not my time yet to do so, but a good click on the link below sure is :)

Canon Pro 1 experience

Currently having used the Canon Powershot S2 IS , I start to wonder how would it be using a DSLR. The Canon EOS 20D in particular. I have been like checking this camera out everyday for 2 weeks in a row at the dpreview CanonEOS20D/10D/D60/D30 forum. I try not too be too equipment oriented in this interest, but then the attraction and the "force" for a DSLR is simply too hard to resist.

Well of course , I did do some minor enquiries in the forum. One in particular would be the type of lens I would require to stack up and to surpass the ones currently offered by the S2 IS. With a coverage of 36-420+ mm , I would require at least 2 sets of lens which would most likely cost me more than the price of my S2. I guess I would have to start savings , and hope for a Fat bonus to speed things up. I think I should be going for the all canon lenses which would amount to a considerable amount of funds being used, but I am looking for quality here. No point getting a lens which is slower or at par to what my S2 can offer right ?

A little something of what I plan to get in the future. FYI, Dell USA has started to sell Digital Cameras and DSLRs online , with great offers and rebates. Just waiting for the right time for Dell Malaysia to start doing so :)

First off , would be the Canon EOS 20D Body. Don't think I would want to seattle for the slow kit lens. USD1,600.00

Being a fan of AA , NiMh rechargeables especially , would not want to miss the Battery Grip for the EOS20D now.. USD170.00

My very first lens shd be the Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM. Its uses for P2P and a multitude for other things will make you worship the creator and leave you wondering how you could have lived with out it.

Hamachi, what an odd sounding name for such a deadly useful program. Hamachi is, simply, a program making it possible to have a LAN over a WAN (the internet!). That’s right, you can connect computers from all over the world into one network, mediated, but not watched or controlled by the owners of Hamachi. The website gives anyone interested specific overviews of how the software works, in good detail. Here I will be quick and basic, telling of my experience with Hamachi, so if you’re intrigued, visit afterwards!

I, being the owner of 3 computers at home, have quite a bit of experience with LANs and networking. However, there are computers at my work which I regularly maintain for all of its users, and now that school has started, it’s difficult for me to get into work to actively maintain those systems. Firewall, NAT and IP address rotation also cause many problems for me to obtain remote access. Enter Hamachi, this small program, installed on firstly, my system at home (for administration purposes) was quick and easy to set up. Hamachi mediation servers handed me a static IP address, and I quickly created a network group for my little operation. Networks can be passworded, so intruders can be kept at bay. I was done and set up with 10 minutes. I was impressed. I did the same operation to my other computers, installing them, and getting them to join the network I created. It was great! I had no problems. I was able to ban, message, block and browse my other computers in this network. And a completely added bonus is that all transmissions are encrypted!

That however, was not the real test. A few days later, I went packing to work to install Hamachi. At first, I was doubtful this little program could pull it off. It would have to go through 2 NATs, 3 firewalls, and 2 antivirus scanners. However, Hamachi pulled it off without a single hitch. I could browse all my shared files from my computer at home, use VNC software, and listen to my downloaded music as if I was sitting at home. Games, such as Starcraft, also played from the 2 locations, played flawlessly over the LAN connection setting.

However, the real fun began after I began experimenting. I’m sure some of you have had LAN parties, where you maybe played some games and shared files. It occurred to me that Hamachi is the perfect tool for sharing files with your friends and family across the world! I can download a movie, send it to my friend, and he can give me a game he copied from the local video store. The options are endless. Think LAN. The possibilities are the same, the only difference? You don’t have to smell your friend’s B/O as you pwn them in UT2k4.

A few weeks later, I’m still very happy with Hamachi. I’ve still yet to discover a problem with the program. Hamachi currently has a community of 265,000 users, up 100,000 from 1 month earlier. Hamachi is compatible with Linux and Windows and is currently in version 0.9.9.9. Also, it’s offered in a multitude of languages. Simple, fast and free - go check out Hamachi today!

Source : http://suprnova.org/?op=showLong&aID=16

Check it out http://www.hamachi.cc/

House Shift !!!

It might be the end of neoro.tk for me , all this updating and stuff might have taken its toll on me.
